A Traditional style Narrowboat built by Bridgewater Boats in 2002 and repainted by Andy Russell in April 2006. Rheidol is powered by a large 55hp Barrus Shire engine with a 150PRM gearbox and Crowther propeller. The boat has four berths, fixed double in the aft cabin and a raised ’L’ shaped dinette which converts, she is heated by a Reflex stainless steel stove in the lounge and a Mukuni MX40 diesel boiler to radiators which along with the engine provides hot water to a calorifier. In addition to 1 x start, 3 x 210amp domestic batteries the boat benefits from 3.5 Travel power generator off the engine, a Victron Phoenix 1600/75 Combi inverter/charger and a 240v shoreline connection, extended cruising or live aboard you have all the power required. The galley is equipped with a Stoves DIT500 oven and grill, gas hob with lid and a 240v Bosch fridge. The bathroom has a sliding door, fully tiled shower cubicle with shower screen and a Thetford cassette toilet. A privacy door leads to the aft cabin with its cross double bed, storage below, chest of drawers, overhead locker and shelves. Rheidol has been beautifully maintain, her systems are second to none and she comes compete with a new BSC The boat will be cruising down to Bristol this summer – t&m to Coventry, north and south oxford, thames to reading and then k&a to Bristol and back viewing can be arranged en route and they are happy to spend a day with prospective buyers.
