Built in 1989 by Mick Sivewright Holly Owl is an ideal “starter boat”, at 27’ she is much the same size of most GRP craft but she can offer so much more. With the advantage of a solid fuel stove Holly Owl can be cruised and enjoyed for the entire year, maximising on monies spent on licence and moorings. This compact boat can sleep 3, fixed seating that converts to a cross double plus a single, the bathroom consists of Porta Pottie WC, shower and vanity unit with basin, the galley is portside with ample storage a Vanessa Flavel oven/grill with 2 burners and a three way fridge, additional storage in the form of a half wardrobe/cupboard is fitted opposite the solid fuel stove. The boat has a calorifier which stores hot water via the engine, she was blacked in 2006 and carries a BSC until 25th August 2012, 12v throughout, stores 2 x 6kg gas bottles, much easier to handle, with a Volvo Penta single cylinder engine, 1 start and 1 leisure batteries.
